Zhenjiang Suoda Coupling CO., Ltd is made out of original Zhenjiang Suoda Transmission Machinery Ltd. It is also, as a subsidiary company of Feida Group, a Sino-America joint venture. Now the company has two production regions: one is located in Dantu New Developping Zone of Zhenjiang City with an area of 16,800 M2, including the construction area 6983M2; another is in Wu Fengkou of Zhenjiang City with an area of 4000 M2, including the construction area 1,390 M2. The company has 138 employees and fixed assets of about 1.2 million USD. Suoda's major products are various kinds of couplings (aggregately 29 series and more than 580 models), which are widely used in metallurgy industry, ship buildings, paper plants, heavy mechanical industry etc. In recent years, we have produced more than 7000 sets of couplings annually, with the totally revenues 4.5 million USD, including export sales volume 90,000 USD. The company has advanced technology and R&D capability on the products, equipped with excellent equipment, with complete testing means and quality assurance system. Suoda is the member of National Heavy Machinery Commission and the member of China Machinery Shaft & Accessories Standardized Commission. We have participated in compiling and revising the China National Standards of Coupling. The company has a professional team who has engaged in the coupling research, design and manufacture by the ways of developing, introducing and digesting the technique from elsewhere. The company has also paid attention to the scientific and technologic cooperation with the universities and institutes. It has established the long-term steady working relationship with Jiangsu University, Nanjing Aeronautics and Astronautics University , Changsha Institute and Beijing Steel Institute, etc. In recent years, the company has offered excellent services for many big-and-middle-sized iron and steel corporations in China, and succeeded in supplying our couplings for the importing assembly lines of more than ten from countries abroad. One example is that Suoda, from 2002 has been assigned by Italian POMINI S.p.A. as the only professional manufacturer of couplings for his Chinese sold products and some of other oversea customer's products. As the substitution products of tooth-type couplings' (type CL), series of roller-type couplings (type QL) were developed by ourselves in 2000, which obtained the country patent ( China patent No. 992287790 ) As for the large universal shafts manufacturing, the company has several sets of contrate millers( modle X1580-1) which can process the contrate gear of up to Φ 1500mm. It has also some internal spline millers (type TX7290), which can process internal spline with the length of 950mm. There are integrated heat treatment facility for the products. Suoda has passed the GB/T 19001-2000 IDT and IS0 9001:2000 quality certifications, established and perfected the quality setup.
